The Nomad S1 and Barracuda R2 series are the best rafts for improving speed due to their longer waterline and aerodynamic shape. We have been dedicated to improving the NomadS1 series for a long time. The narrower hull not only reduces water resistance, but also allows you to paddle the raft with less effort. We also use removable fins to reduce water resistance and increase overall stability and tracking. This also improves the speed of the Nomad S1 series and the Barracuda R2. Although the Nomad S1 has a narrow hull, it is specially equipped with a high seat cushion to prevent paddlers from getting caught between buoys. Although the interior width of the raft is narrow, you still have plenty of space above the high cushion seat.
Models are available with and without a skirt. The multi-function D-type skirt has a removable zipper and Velcro that allows you to easily close the cover when the temperature drops.
Most of the water will be blocked when the flap is closed.
